WESTPAK, Inc., one of the event’s many corporate sponsors, was fortunate to get a prime position for our table at the Bay Area Biomedical Device Conference held at San Jose State University last week, providing an excellent opportunity to talk with students and recent graduates of the school’s Biomedical Engineering program.
Edmund Tang, Director of Packaging at SJSU and Lab Manager at WESTPAK, and Eric Cardiel, Test Engineer II, addressed many inquiries regarding WESTPAK’s medical device package testing, customers, culture, and job opportunities.
The speaker presentations supporting the conference theme, Sustainability-driven Healthcare Technologies, provided a fresh perspective on a few of the many “green” initiatives underway within the device industry.
